In the Palm of His Hands

I came across this absolutely stunning sand sculpture on a Facebook post:

Pretty incredible, right?

I wish I could credit the sand sculptor or even the photographer. But I’ve lost that opportunity. From what I remember, it was one of those posts that asks readers to rate the piece.

I give it a ten. Amazing! Whoever created this, has serious talent. Thank you!

Reminds me of the vulnerability I sometimes feel with my own faith. But I am quickly comforted by His promise and hope.

Also reminds me of one of my favorite Celtic prayers, bringing me back to my Irish roots. I am sure you have heard it:

May the road rise up to meet you.
May the wind be always at your back.
May the sun shine warm upon your face;
the rains fall soft upon your fields
and until we meet again,
may God hold you in the palm of His hand.
