New house on water. New boat. Plenty of family time. Tons of laughing. Kayaking, crab feasts, swimming in the Chesapeake Bay! Making many memories for sure.
I love this life. And I have to say thank you and pinch myself on the regular.
So many blessings . . .
Are things perfect? Not by a long shot. Will they ever be? What kind of dumb question is that? Just joshing.
My point is, I’m humbled more often than not and working from a place of peace and joy most of the time. This is what it is all about, I believe. What God wants for us all. Happiness.
Moments like this add up and make it easier to find the light in the storm and to move forward in grace and love.
Though summer is still in full swing— in fact, we have a staycation slash long weekend at the beach coming up— I thought I’d share some photos of our first summer on Rumsey Island:
Blessed beyond my wildest dreams and completely in love with this life. Thank you, God! Thank you.
I will close with this note from Isaiah 12:4-5
In that day you will say:
“Give praise to the Lord, proclaim his name;
make known among the nations what he has done,
and proclaim that his name is exalted.
Sing to the Lord, for he has done glorious things;
let this be known to all the world.
